ROBOT & FRANK has arrived at a New York City diner.
The company says its new robotic assistant is “designed to complement diners by helping them with their orders, including ordering and placing food.”
Diners can use the robot to pick up orders from the counter or the table, pick up dishes from the kitchen counter, and pick up coffee from the bar.
The robot, which will cost $1,000 to $2,000, will be a part of the company’s $1.9 billion, 50-year-old food-service empire.
Robot & Frank is based in New York and has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
